I miss you. I hope you’re doing okay. You’ll always be the Jack to my Sally. I wish you are happy. I may not have known you that long. The first three months I knew you were the happiest I have ever been. I know you changed, and you were not that man anymore… you no longer wanted all those things anymore. I miss your cuddles. Sometimes I can hear your voice in my head. Last weekend, I dreamt that we were friends and spent the day in my favourite place, just exploring. Then last night, I dreamt of our wedding day. It was beautiful and very special. It is funny, because I think I have only dreamt of you once before, and now I have had two dreams of you so close together. I wish I could get rid of this constant migraine, so I could write both of these dreams into my Jane Chronicles series. I have been cuddling the plushie that I got you today. It seemed a shame to keep it in the cupboard on Halloween. I hope you are having a great Halloween, not that you need a day to celebrate our favourite holiday. I have had my pumpkins and ghosts out all year around. I hadn’t even realised that I am wearing my ghost hoodie, while wrapped up in my new ghost blanket. Thank you for being a part of my life for the tiny part that you were. You changed my life more than you could ever know, and I will never forget you for it. I part of me will always love and care about you, well, the you that you were when we first met. I don’t know how much of it was real, I like to believe it all was, but you just decided that you didn’t want that anymore. I hold onto hope that you change your mind and you do want that life again. Don’t worry, I won’t hold you to it. You probably have someone else by now anyway… and she probably is the one for you and you probably do want that life with her. But thank you for sharing part of your life with me. I will treasure it forever. You helped me so much. I just wish there was something I could do to thank you or repay you. Sometimes I think maybe leaving you was repaying you… because now you can be happy, and I won’t be holding you back by still wanting the life you said you wanted when we first met… the communicating, respecting and sharing, instead of pushing away, isolating and refusing to see that your selfish actions were hurting me. I only asked that we could agree a day or a time for a phone call. That isn’t being controlling. I didn’t want to put my entire life on hold for someone who didn’t have time for me and made my mental health struggle. That first photo we took together is still my favourite day. Sending you this biggest hug. I hope your Halloween is the best. I love you.
