Love Hurts

I love you and I miss you,
This hurts more than words can say.
I love you and I miss you;
I wish there was another way.

I can’t let anybody know.
I can’t say how I feel.
I must hide my heart’s desire,
Must pretend it isn’t real.

I wish that you could see
How hard I try every day.
I just want to make you proud –
I wish you could find a way.

I love you and I miss you,

I want to make you happy.
I wish that you could see
All my positivity
And how things could be you and me.

Until then I have to hide
My feelings and when I weep.
For now you’re my dream lover,
At least I see you in my sleep.
