I’m cancelling my interview. The thought of working for the wedding ring department of a jewellery factory, while being single forever, feels too much, and has me crying at my desk. I would cry at work every day, knowing that everyone else is allowed to have that, but it is wrong for me to want it. I’d rather stay working for a company forever, where I am not entitled to take a day off work or call in sick, because I will be single forever.
