I
have had Disney Plus, for two and a half months. I only get it when they have
the £1.99 a month for three months deal. I think this is the third time I have
had Disney Plus, but this time I was incredibly disappointed. Most of the films
that I would have wanted to watch are no longer on there. I understand that
they have recently bought other companies and they are now showing their films
on the platform, but they have removed their own, original things and replaced
them with non-Disney things. Here is a list of some of the films and TV shows
that are Disney original things that are no longer on Disney Plus, which
frustrated me:
Minute Men (it is a 2000s heavily inspired ‘Back To The Future’ rip off, but I
love it)
Hatching Pete (it is a 2000s heavily inspired ‘Teen Wolf’ rip off)
Now You See It (I am writing a magic series and I use this, occasionally to
motivate me when I feel down)
Read It and Weep! (This inspired my ‘Caitlyn’s Journal’ piece that I did last
year)
Andi Mac
So Random
Cory in the House
Dadknapped
Calling All Monsters (which I hadn’t seen and was on my watchlist)
Stuck in the Suburbs
You Wish!
Zenon (another that was on my watchlist)
House of Mouse (as far as I can tell, this has actually never been on Disney
Plus, but it is one of my favourite Disney series)
They used to have all of the Indian Jones films, but now they only have the
newest one
It’s just a little rant. If Disney keep removing their films and adding ones
that aren’t theirs onto the platform instead, then I might not bother
resubscribing next time they have an offer on. This is why I prefer DVDs. You
can watch what you want whenever you want, and you don’t have to wait until it
is available again, nor do you have to be subscribed to hundreds of streaming
services in order to watch what you want.
