Names I have Been Called

(Josie Sayz: Update - The Office Manager, at work, calls me Jennette so often that the company owners/directors believe that Jennette is my name, despite me writing everyone at work a Christmas card...

I have been called an array of peculiar names over the past few years. So, just for laughs, I thought that I would compile a list of them all here. As and when more get added, I will update and repost this list.

 

Jose (pronounced jow-s)
Jo (I have not and will never respond to Jo)
Josetta (the director at my old job used to jokily call me this and then the same day he called it me, somehow all my customers started emailing me, calling me this)
Joseff (somehow when spelling my name over the phone as J-O-S-E-double T-E, someone still managed to write Joseff, and every time toner got delivered to office that I worked at, at the time, it was addressed to Joseff)
Janet (this is what people often think my name is, when I tell them my name. They say, “Janet?”)
Jennette (my coworker who sits at my elbow keeps calling me this and then says, “I know that’s not yer name, but it’s what I keep thinkin’ yer name is. Can’t yer change yer name to Jeanette?”)
Vampire (this was my nickname, when I worked at the blinds company, which is funny, because I am one eighth vampire)
Ginger Ninja (this was when I worked as a waitress)
